Why can't I find a specific lake?
The app includes lakes that have an official Minnesota DNR fisheries survey on record. Lakes that have never been surveyed are not shown.
What do the abundance levels mean?
Abundance (Abundant, High, Moderate, Low, Present) reflects a species' catch rate relative to similar Minnesota lakes, based on DNR survey data.
How current is the data?
Survey data is sourced from the Minnesota DNR LakeFinder dataset. It reflects the most recent surveys available at the time of each app update.
